Project Description

The medical facility, called the Dallas County Jail Medical Modification Project, is spread across nearly 140,000 square feed on the bottom three floors of the jail’s north tower. This one-of-a-kind facility offers separate medical and mental health clinics, plus a full-service pharmacy, dental office, radiology unit and two intensive care units, one for men and one for women.

Cornerstone provided design assistance, value engineering, and the furnishing and installation of detention equipment to include security hollow metal doors/frames, detention furniture, security ceiling, security hardware and security glazing.

Cornerstone, Inc. is a process driven operation. We worked hand in hand with the owner, designer and the general contractor in order to implement the design of the facility while also providing insight into our areas of expertise.
