Project Description

Cornerstone, Inc. was awarded an $8.5 M contractor for the detention equipment and security electronics systems work for the $136 M Central Health Services Building at San Quentin Prison in Marin County, California. The Central Health Services Building comprises medical health care, mental health services, dental health care and inmate receiving and release.

Work included the fabrication and erection of Norment’s MaxWall Modular Cell System, detention swinging doors, security ceilings, a rooftop outdoor recreation yard and Airteq detention hardware throughout the facility.

Along with detention equipment, Norment also installed a Video IP and Digital Recording System with over 200 cameras, a PLC Door Monitoring System, a card access system that controls non-detention doors and a Man-Down System.
